Yes We Can!

I’d like to encourage readers by saying we all have struggles and strengths. We must realize that the things we have done or not done in life do not define us. All of us, now, as we are, have infinite value and are worthy of extravagant love and belonging. As human beings, and as citizens, we have personal power and choice. People who hold public office, & who serve in social agencies are our servants; they work for us. Many of us feel apathetic and powerless. Maybe someone told us that we are not good enough, or we don’t have a specific degree, or title.

As human beings, members of our human family, and as citizens, we do have a voice and personal power. We can all exercise our power by advocating with our state and local and federal elected officials. We can vote, and encourage others to vote. Please listen to encouraging Ted talk by a member of the Koretta Scott King foundation, Delores Huerta.
