Although NC is implementing Phase 1 loosening of social distancing, I am holding fast. Epidemiologists and infectious disease professionals recommend that social distancing, wearing a mask covering our mouth and nose, washing hands frequently for 20-seconds are how we protect ourselves from COVID-19. When we have enough accurate tests & an effective, safe vaccine, then I’ll consider phasing out the above scientifically sound safety recommendations.
